It’s been a while since my last post on this blog. However I still do a lot of cooking and keep posting my food on another social network. Writing the blog in English involves a bit of time for me as many of you know I’m from non English speaking background, and I want to make sure it all make sense for you.
Also many times when I cook I don’t really measure it, that’s why it is hard to write down the recipe to show you.
A few days ago I went to my friends house and met some of her extended family and friends. They all know about my blog and kept asking when I am going to upload a new recipe. Knowing that they are interested in what I am doing gives me inspiration. So today let’s start with an easy recipe “Grilled chicken lemongrass”
Ingredients (serves 1)
• 1 chicken Maryland
• 2 tbsp chopped lemongrass
• 1 clove garlic
• 1 tsp pepper
• 2 coriander roots
• 1 tbsp of oyster sauce
• 1 tbsp of soy sauce
• 1 tsp of sugar
• 1 tbsp of milk
Method
1. Grind lemongrass, garlic, pepper and coriander root together then add to the chicken.
2. Add oyster sauce, soy sauce, milk and sugar. Marinate the chicken for at least 3 hours then grill to perfection.
I grilled my chicken in the Air fryer with the temperature at 180c for 20 minutes.
