Goodbye to 2017 and welcome 2018

The year has gone so fast. We are about to say goodbye to 2017 and welcome the 2018 New Year. Even though this year I rarely posted things on my blog, my Instagram and Facebook account got regular posts and quite good feedback.

I have now upgraded my plan so one of my goals for 2018 is to write more here.

Glass Noodles Salad ยำวุ้นเส้น

Spicy salad, or “Yum” in Thai language, is a very popular dish. There are so many varieties of salad and you can add almost anything you like in the dish.

I love salad and this is one of the best. The dish is glass noodles salad(traditional style). The glass noodles are made from mung beans, and you can usually find a dried version.

Stir fried green beans with Sichuan peppercorns ถั่วแขกผัดพริกเสฉวน

Thai meals always include a vegetable dish, either stir fried or just raw vegetables. I love vegetable dishes, particularly stir fried. This stir fried green bean with dried chilli and Sichuan peppercorns is a distinctly Chinese dish but is seen a lot in Thailand as there are many Thai Chinese and the two cultures frequently blend. This recipe was inspired by one of the food bloggers I’m following. The dish is so simple and I bet you will love it.

Seasoned prawns

I love having my blog. It is just like my online recipe collection. It is quicker to look for the recipe online than find the page in a cooking book. So all the recipes here are the ones I use a lot. Not only do I want to keep them, but they are the ones I want to share.

Seasoned prawns is a very simple and quick dish that delivers a succulent taste. I have made this dish many times trying different types of prawns, and It always comes out well. This time I also made a short VDO showing one way to make the dish.
