Home made Gyoza (Japanese Dumplings) เกี๊ยวซ่า

 

With spring well and truly started I like to broaden my cooking to encompass recipes that cater for friends and family in the great outdoors. Here is favourite that works wonders both at lunch and as a dinner entree.

Ingredients  (makes 24 dumplings)


• 250g minced pork
• 1/2 tbsp minced garlic

• 1/2 tbsp grated ginger

• 1/4 brown onion chopped

• 1/2 cup finely sliced cabbage or wombok

• 1 tbsp chopped garlic chive or spring onion

• 1 tsp sesame oil
• 1 tbsp soy sauce

• 1 tbsp oyster sauce

 
Method

Mix all the ingredients together and keep in the fridge until required.

To wrap, place the filling in the middle of the wrapping then use your finger to paint the water around the edge. The VDO provides further detail.
